ADVANCED WOUND HEALING & LYMPHEDEMA TREATMENT
Cavalier’s Wound Care Team consists of WCC certified wound care RN’s as well as lymphedema certified therapists.

Wound Healing and Lymphedema Treatment
Our multi-disciplinary approach to wound healing allows us to treat a variety of complex wounds and chronic conditions such as lymphedema.

Experienced wound clinicians at Cavalier know that effective management of edema is crucial to success with treatment of wounds. Using the Vodder manual therapy technique, our specialists go beyond the standard approach to wound and edema management by combining the two treatment approaches. To safely and effectively treat patients with lymphatic disorders, therapists must receive additional training. Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) is the standard of care for the treatment of primary and secondary lymphedema. CDT is also extremely beneficial for managing post-traumatic and post-surgical edema, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) and patients with wounds.
With the techniques that our Certified Lymphedema Therapist utilize, you will vastly improve your symptoms, reduce limb size and decrease suffering from lymphedema and/or orthopedic issues which may be contributing to deficits in functional mobility. We pride ourselves on expanding our knowledge base of the lymphedema skill set to help heal wound patients which has shown to be the gold standard to in maximizing our wound care.
